Before Shift

• One volunteer to pick up keys

At the Start of Shift

• Unlock the storeroom and retrieve chairs, supplies boxes, washing baskets, detergent, banner (if applicable) - lock up storeroom once all items retrieved
• Retrieve coins & invoice book
• Stick up the ‘Standards of Behaviour’ and ‘Washing Whiteboard’ posters with bluetack

During Shift

• Keep storeroom & other secure door locked when not in use
• Encourage friends to sort & shake off their washing and check their pockets before loading
• Help friends access washing machines & dryers by loading gold coins for them
• Note all individual washing loads and drying loads in the invoice book
  • include machine number, cost, and your initials
• Note the number of laundry loads and friends on the washing whiteboard
• Have great conversations
• Wipe down touch points and surfaces in between washes as needed to maintain hygiene

At the End of Shift

• Return any un-used coins & invoice book - and ensure all locked up
• Wipe down surfaces & tidy/sweep the laundromat
